Promoting MAGELLAN during REEsilience Main Event

26.03.2026

MAGELLAN was promoted during the REEsilience Main Event 2026, held on 24 March 2026 in Augsburg, Germany. The event brought together stakeholders from across Europe’s rare earth and permanent magnet ecosystem to discuss how to build a more resilient and sustainable supply chain for rare earth materials and magnet products in Europe.

MAGELLAN project partner’s Magneti Ljubljana representatives used the opportunity to share MAGELLAN communication materials and engage with members of the REEsilience consortium and other event attendees. MAGELLAN leaflets were distributed during the event, supporting informal discussions on the project’s objectives, progress and relevance to Europe’s rare earth permanent magnet value chain.

The activity was particularly relevant because MAGELLAN and REEsilience address closely connected challenges. Both projects contribute to strengthening European capacities for rare earth magnets, improving sustainability and circularity, and reducing dependency on vulnerable non-European supply chains.

Through this activity, MAGELLAN strengthened its visibility within a highly relevant European project community and supported continued clustering with initiatives working on rare earth materials, permanent magnets, recycling and supply chain resilience.
