Methodology

MAGELLAN will cover the whole value chain, starting from the production of the basic magnetic alloys with a part of recovered material from the short-loop magnet-to-alloy route to the production of new and cost-effective PM implemented and tested in EVTMs.

The project will be driven by industry providing strong expertise in recycling but also taking into account specific constraints and needs of end-users focusing on EVTM and car manufacturers.
