16.10.2024

On the 1st of October 2024, Gaetano DE PAOLA from IFP Energies nouvelles presented the MAGELLAN project during the EARPA autumn meeting.

EARPA is the European Automotive Research Partners Association which brings together the most prominent independent European R&D providers in the automotive sector.

EARPA helps enable organisations to actively contribute to the European Research Area and the future EU research and technological development funding programmes and currently has 61 members ranging from large and small commercial organisations to national institutes and universities. EARPA is independent from any external body or institute and is only funded by its members’ fees and is governed by an Executive Board and a General Assembly. They work in close cooperation with the automotive industry, the automotive suppliers,  as well as the European Institutions and the EU Member States.

Gaetano presented the objectives and expected results of our project in a keynote presentation titled “MAGELLAN Project:  (End of life magnet process for electric motors)” that raised a lot of attention amongst a variety of stakeholders ranging from EC officers to research organisations.
