Functional Materials (TU Darmstadt) hosted the IEEE Magnetic Frontiers Conference 2024

26.09.2024

Congratulations to our partners at Functional Materials (TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Oliver Gutfleisch for successfully hosting the IEEE Magnetic Frontiers Conference 2024! The event saw outstanding global participation and enthusiasm from both industry and academia.

We are especially proud that contributions from the MAGELLAN Project EU were highlighted. One of our key topics—Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet recycling—was featured in a flash talk by Dr Imants Dirba titled “Grain Boundary Engineering and Recycling.”

Additionally, results from the MAGELLAN project were showcased during the poster session “Towards Recycling of Nd-Fe-B Permanent Magnets in a Circular Economy” by TU Darmstadt students Aybike Paksoy, Amrita Khan, and Ahsan Ali.
